Bytewise Academy is the education arm of NDW Tech, designed to prepare students in grades 1–12 for success in the modern technology workforce. Through hands-on labs, personalized instruction, and real-world projects, students gain the skills and confidence to create, problem-solve, and innovate across multiple technology disciplines.
Students meet in person every two weeks and continue learning through structured online projects between sessions. As they progress, students may choose their specialization pathway — Programming, App Development, Game Development, or Cybersecurity — allowing for tailored growth aligned with their passions.

🧑🏫 Instruction & Mentorship
All courses are led by Nicholas D. West, founder of NDW Tech and the primary instructor of Bytewise Academy. With years of experience in education, software engineering, and curriculum design, Mr. West ensures that every lesson connects to real-world application.
As students advance, they become peer mentors, supporting new learners and developing leadership and teamwork skills that last a lifetime.

- Remote Learning: Online lessons and projects between sessions for flexibility and depth.
- Pathway Selection: Students choose between Programming, App Development, Game Development, or Cybersecurity.
- Mentorship Model: Advanced students mentor new enrollees to reinforce collaboration and mastery.
- Industry Speaker Series: Annual guest speakers from top tech industries inspire and guide students.
- Technology Fairs: Yearly showcases allow students to present their projects to families, sponsors, and the community.
💰 Tuition & Scholarships
Bytewise Academy operates as a tuition-based enrichment program, but most students attend at little to no cost thanks to scholarships funded by NDW Tech and local sponsors.
These scholarships ensure that financial barriers never prevent passionate students from pursuing technology education.
📘 Curriculum Tracks
Elementary Track (Grades 1–5)
Creative computing and visual programming through interactive projects.
Middle School Track (Grades 6–8)
Intermediate programming, app and web development, and digital safety.
High School Track (Grades 9–12)
Advanced pathways in game development, app creation, and cybersecurity — with professional tools, certifications, and college-readiness projects.
